Trade Mission to Germany – Cruise and Ferry Industry

Together with Innovation Norway, we invites our members and  other relevant Norwegian suppliers to join on a targeted Trade Mission to Germany – one of Europe’s most important markets for the cruise and ferry value chain.

Germany represents a strong maritime nation with advanced shipbuilding capabilities, leading cruise and ferry operators, and a highly developed ecosystem of shipyards, suppliers, maritime services, and R&D environments.

 

Why Germany – and why now?

Germany combines:

  • A strong position within cruise, ferry and advanced maritime technology

  • High demand for quality, safety, digitalization and green solutions

  • Large and professional industry players actively working with supplier development and partnerships

This trade mission is designed to give Norwegian companies faster access to key decision-makers and concrete business opportunities in the German cruise and ferry market.

Relevant companies delivering:

  • Ship design

  • Ship equipment and systems

  • Maritime services (including digitalization, automation, energy efficiency, retrofit solutions, and related technologies)

 

Program Highlights

The program includes company visits and structured meeting arenas with central German stakeholders in the cruise and ferry value chain.

Planned visits include:

  • Meyer Werft (Papenburg)

  • Lloyd Werft (Bremerhaven)

  • Carnival Corporation / AIDA Cruises (Hamburg)

  • TT-Line (Travemünde/Lübeck)

Final program details will be confirmed closer to departure.

Participation Fee

Participation fee (excl. VAT, travel costs not included):

  • NOK 30,000 – Large companies

  • NOK 20,000 – SMEs

  • NOK 5,000 – Participant no. 2 from the same company

 

ESG Requirement

To participate, companies must acknowledge and comply with Innovation Norway’s requirements related to responsible business conduct (ESG), including due diligence assessments and adherence to relevant international guidelines.
