ESG collaboration
We are a cluster of forward-thinking companies focused on circularity and sustainability across the entire value chain. We work to develop innovative business models, products, and solutions that align with nature and contribute to a green transition.
In the cluster, we share knowledge about requirements and solutions to assist our members' efforts in ESG work (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
We offer, among other things, forums, courses, and expertise in sustainable practices. Through our offerings, and in collaboration with good professional resources, we provide concrete assistance to understand ESG and the requirements for sustainability work in businesses.
We also do this through experience exchange and knowledge building in the forum ÅKP TouchBase Sustainability. The forum is a collaboration with ÅKP and the law firm Adviso, and is open to companies across sectors.
Traceability, efficient resource use, environmentally friendly footprints, and profitability
Our companies and partners can demonstrate traceability, efficient resource use, environmentally friendly footprints, and profitability. We have many examples of best practices that inspire others.
Through close collaboration within the cluster, where we share knowledge and experiences, we increase profitability by creating economies of scale.
The Land Meets the Sea collaboration highlights and demonstrates circularity through process optimization and the use of advanced technology for better resource utilization in the bioeconomy.
In the cluster, we enhance our members' process technical competence, particularly through the capacity-building project Fish 4.0 (Norwegian Research Council).

We connect green and blue food production through research, development, and digital technology to create more efficient value chains and marketplaces.
We mobilize industrial partnerships and symbioses that contribute to effective and sustainable solutions across industries, regions, and borders.
Land Meets Ocean collaboration is important for accelerating regional and national industrial cooperation:
The Land Meets Ocean project is a collaboration between the four national clusters NCE Heidner Biocluster, NCE Seafood Innovation, NCE Blue Legasea, and Biotech North. The project contributes through activities such as knowledge sharing, mapping, workshops, and own projects to sustainable innovation and industrial development across blue and green bioeconomy. The goal is increased growth, increased circularity, and increased sustainability in the bioeconomy.
We help clarify the data that members need to make informed decisions, while also addressing profitability dilemmas. We are aware of the EU's taxonomy requirements and reporting obligations, and as a cluster, we actively share expertise and knowledge to meet these requirements.
Together, we strive for a stronger position on sustainable solutions and products that contribute to a more responsible and profitable future.
