Ship Technology Days returns for the fourth consecutive year, bringing together leading actors from industry, academia and the public sector to explore how technology and digitalization are transforming the maritime industry.

Day 1 – Industry visits & Blue Maritime Hangout
The first day is dedicated to company visits and hands-on insights into technology development in practice. The day concludes with the Blue Maritime Hangout – an informal and open networking arena where professionals from industry, research, and education meet to exchange experiences and perspectives.

Ship Technology Days 2026 is part of a long-term effort to strengthen competence, collaboration and innovation in the maritime industry, bridging research and industry, and turning advanced technology into operational reality.
The conference is hosted by GCE Blue Maritime Cluster, and organized in close collaboration with Ulstein Næringsforum, MAFOSS and with strong professional contributions from the MIDAS project, led by NTNU and supported by the Norwegian Research Council.
