Connecting industrial data, artificial intelligence and digital technologies to accelerate innovation across the blue industries.
The Blue AI & Industrial Data Forum is a collaborative arena for companies, researchers and technology providers developing the next generation of digital maritime and ocean solutions. By bringing together expertise across the blue economy, the forum accelerates the adoption of artificial intelligence, industrial data, IIoT, simulation and digital twins to create smarter, safer and more sustainable operations.
The forum arranges 2–3 annual meetings where participants explore emerging technologies, share experiences across companies and gain insights into new standards, digital architectures and best practices. The meetings provide a trusted environment for competence sharing, networking and collaboration between industry and academia.
A key ambition of the forum is not only to discuss new technologies, but to facilitate their practical implementation. Through close collaboration with Norsk Katapult Digital and the DigiSima test arena, participants can demonstrate, test and validate new digital solutions before deployment, reducing risk and accelerating innovation.
Typical topics include:
Artificial Intelligence and machine learning
Industrial data platforms and interoperability
Industrial Internet of Things (Iao)
Sensors and data acquisition
Digital twins and simulation
Decision support systems
Digital standards and system integration
Data-driven optimisation of maritime operations
By connecting research, technology developers and industry, the forum contributes to faster technology adoption, stronger collaboration and increased competitiveness for companies across the blue industries
