Ship Technology Days returns for the fourth consecutive year, bringing together leading actors from industry, academia and the public sector to explore how technology and digitalization are transforming the maritime industry.

Hosted in Ulsteinvik – at the heart of the Norwegian maritime cluster – Ship Technology Days is designed as a technology-driven conference, focusing on real projects, real challenges and real industrial progress.

Day 1 – Industry visits & Blue Maritime Hangout
The first day is dedicated to company visits and hands-on insight into technology development in practice. The day concludes with the Blue Maritime Hangout – an informal and open networking arena where professionals from industry, research and education meet to exchange experiences and perspectives.

Ship Technology Days 2026 is part of a long-term effort to strengthen competence, collaboration and innovation in the maritime industry – bridging research and industry, and turning advanced technology into operational reality.
The conference is led by GCE Blue Maritime Cluster, and organized in close collaboration with Ulstein Næringsforum, MAFOSS and with strong professional contributions from the MIDAS competence-building project, led by NTNU and supported by the Norwegian Research Council.
