During Mørejarl 2026, academia, business, defense, and society come together to discuss preparedness, resource use, and collaboration in practice.
How can Møre and Romsdal be a wildcard in Total Defense and contribute to strengthening the overall resilience of society? Is your business capable of contributing to the defense of Norway – or to protect itself in a crisis situation? What happens if the Armed Forces requisition your vehicles, machinery, boats – or perhaps even your employees? Can the Armed Forces actually do that? And is it the case that our maritime cluster and our competence environments can play a larger role as a support point for the Navy and Naval Defense in the northwest? These – and many other questions – are at the center when academia, business, defense, and society meet at Mørejarl 2026.
Mørejarl 2026 is an initiative led by Sunnmøre Defense Association, supported by NTNU, HV-11, NMK, ÅKP, and the County Governor in Møre and Romsdal.
