Organizational change for a greener future
Nov 19, 2025
In this year's final Touchbase Sustainability, we brought together the participants in the forum around the theme of green organizational changes. The goal for the day was to explore how companies can build structures and culture that integrate sustainability into their strategy, a direction that guides daily decisions.
First, the participants received a brief introduction to what green organizational changes entail, and why organizational measures often determine whether sustainability ambitions turn into actual action. Then, Stefan Halck and Nina Fuglebakk from GAGN took the floor with the presentation “Strategic Anchoring of Sustainability”. They highlighted how leadership, priorities, and specific governance measures lay the foundation for change – and how businesses can ensure that sustainability does not become a side project, but part of the core mission.
Furthermore, Dr. Ing. Annik Fet from Capsem Consult provided a taste of Life Cycle Management. The presentation showed how a holistic life cycle perspective helps organizations move from good intentions to actual measures that yield documentable effects. The day concluded with discussions, reflections, and input on the presentations. They discussed, among other things, the importance of resistance and how it sometimes leads to better results than when one receives a somewhat simple "yes". Another point that emerged was the importance of building capacity for change and that one must have a pragmatic approach to the changes within the company.

This Year's Touchbase Sustainability – a Brief Summary
Throughout the year, Touchbase Sustainability has gathered local businesses that want to learn, challenge themselves, and develop practices in sustainable innovation, governance, and value creation. 2025 has been marked by good professional presentations, open conversations, and strong engagement from the participants. Together, we have explored everything from regulatory changes and financial requirements to circular business models, life cycle analysis, and internal organizational development. The forum has established itself as an arena for sharing experiences across industries – and, not least, as a place where businesses gain insights that can be translated into actual action.
As we now conclude this year's gatherings, the work on next year's program is already underway. The goal remains the same: to build a relevant, practice-oriented meeting place for experience sharing for businesses that want to take sustainability seriously.
For companies that are not yet part of Touchbase Sustainability: We are aiming for the themes in 2026 to be just as relevant, that the forum will provide real value for participants, and concrete knowledge to take back to their own organizations.
The arena offers not only insights – but also networks, practical experiences, and inspiration to take the steps that yield results.
