Digismia launched: A new arena for digital tailoring
Dec 3, 2025
Now ÅKP has a completely new arena for exploration, learning, and technological collaboration. On Tuesday, December 2nd, Norsk Katapult Digital opened its innovation, Digismia – a place where companies can showcase digital solutions, test new services, and gain insights before moving forward with larger investments.
Norsk Katapult Digital would not have been a reality without the support from Siva and Nemonoor, both of whom have been central in building up and facilitating the initiative.

— This lab will never be finished and will always be renewed. This should be a hands-on place where people can test things out. We open the space for people who want to exhibit. This should be an open platform where data is shared across, said the driving force behind Digismia, Michael Carroza, at the opening.
CEO of ÅKP, Kirsti Slotsvik, used the metaphor "tailoring" to describe the ambition behind the initiative.
— We will use Digismia for digital tailoring. Here, things will be created that can be taken into the future and further developed, she said.

Presentation of the first exhibitors
During the opening, the first exhibitors in Digismia were presented:
• Elio, by Sverre Blindheim.
• Invig, by Daniel Westervik.

Leader of NK Digital, Bjørn Dimmen (l.) in conversation with Øyvind Herse.
Daniel Westervik and Michael Carroza also introduced several exhibitors such as Moicon, Ulstein, and Digel, all contributing with various technologies and concepts. Furthermore, the partners were highlighted through short presentations. Common to them is that they use Digismia as a testing and exhibition arena to further develop solutions – often through smaller projects that can later grow into larger initiatives.
Norsk Katapult's role was also clearly defined during the opening: to be a catalyst for SMEs, a networking arena, and a place where companies can test before they invest.
