This autumns's Human Factors in Control (HFC) Forum will take place in Ålesund, with a special focus on human factors in advanced maritime operations, including lessons learned from Walk-to-Work (W2W) operations and other complex offshore activities.
Human Factors in Maritime Operations – The Latest Updates
As part of MIDAS Academy, GCE Blue Maritime Cluster and Human Factors in Control (HFC) Forum invite you to a free prelude event ahead of the main conference.
The maritime industry is evolving rapidly through increased digitalisation, automation, remote operations and AI. This introductory session provides an overview of the latest developments in maritime human factors, highlighting emerging trends, new research and practical industry experiences that set the stage for this year's conference.
The Prelude Event is free of charge and open to everyone with an interest in safer and smarter maritime operations.
Registration for the Human Factors in Control Forum 2026 will open separately. The main event is a lunch-to-lunch conference, including an evening networking dinner, and is offered at a special member rate.
