The platform is designed to strengthen competitiveness and collaboration within the cluster by making strategic knowledge more accessible. It brings together insight on market developments, technology trends, funding opportunities, and innovation projects – all curated and quality-checked by the GCE Blue Maritime team.

— Competitiveness and knowledge sharing are vital to us, says Pierre Major, Cluster Manager at GCE Blue Maritime.

He also says:

— We collect and structure reports, analyses and presentations to make valuable information easier to access and use across the cluster. This is a free benefit for our members.

The Knowledge Base already includes partner contributions such as Advansia’s Maritime Resilience Report and Esgian’s Offshore Wind Business Executive, alongside presentations from cluster events and seminars. It will also be used for distributing market insights from Cruise Industry News, developed through the national maritime export initiative for Cruise and Ferries, partially supported by Innovation Norway.

Each document is carefully tagged by topic and industry segment, and many include AI-generated summaries to make it easier for users to assess relevance. Members can log in easily using a one-time access code for each session, ensuring secure and seamless access to all materials. All documents are shared with the author’s consent to ensure responsible use of information.

The platform will continue to evolve, with planned features including a tender overview and an external event calendar to further enhance collaboration and industry insight.
