We aim to enhance the competitiveness of cluster members through security.

Advansia is a consultancy providing advisory services for large construction projects, digital transformation, and business management. Although I am the only person based in Møre og Romsdal, I have a highly experienced team covering all areas of security. It’s a privilege to lead a Champions League-level team,” says Holen, and emphasizes that security is not about paranoia but about awareness and foresight.

Contributing to a more resilient maritime industry

The motivation for joining GCE Blue Maritime is both to foster relationships and to strengthen the overall competitiveness of the cluster. “The maritime industry is not only commercially interesting for us – it also represents a vital part of Norway’s critical infrastructure within transport, energy, food security, defense, and preparedness. We want to contribute with our expertise to help build resilient companies that can withstand today’s complex threat landscape,” Holen explains.

He believes that preparedness and focus on security will increasingly serve as a competitive advantage. “Today’s value chains are long and vulnerable. A comprehensive approach to security can make both individual companies and the entire cluster more competitive,” he adds.

Maritime resilience report, a new tool developed for the maritime cluster

As its first contribution to the cluster, Advansia has developed the Maritime Resilience Report, a quarterly threat assessment exclusive to GCE Blue Maritime members.

The report aims to provide updated, relevant situational awareness in an increasingly complex threat environment. We extract the most relevant information for the cluster, based on sector and geography and provide a concise, targeted report that can enhance security awareness,” Holen explains. Through verified sources, Advansia seeks to offer a clear and balanced perspective of the current security situation.

The report draws on verified information combined with professional experience and insight. Our goal is to provide members with a deeper understanding of relevant developments, share experiences , and serve as a practical tool for strengthening security work across the cluster

“The report draws on verified information combined with professional experience and insight. Our goal is to provide members with a deeper understanding of relevant developments, share experiences , and serve as a practical tool for strengthening security work across the cluster,” he says.

The first report has recently been launched and is now available to cluster members.

Ready to Collaborate

Looking ahead, Advansia intends to engage more with cluster members, attend events, and exchange knowledge.

“We have already been in contact with several member companies. Some are seeking a comprehensive risk assessment, others need support with recruitment or want to strengthen their preparedness. I am always happy to grab a coffee and discuss how we can help,” says Holen with a smile.

He emphasizes that his team includes highly experienced colleagues with backgrounds from PST and national preparedness organizations.

We have a solid foundation to build on and a genuine desire to enhance security across the maritime industry,” he concludes.

Cluster Manager Pierre Major and the rest of the GCE Blue Maritime team is pleased to welcome Advansia to GCE Blue Maritime:

“They bring valuable expertise that will benefit many of our members – especially in the uncertain times we are navigating today,” Pierre concludes.
